I have finished the Swallowtail Shawl, it's been blocked, all that is left to do is to weave in the ends.

Wow, it's stunning. I was thinking about Swallowtail just this morning. It's one of the shawls I'd like to do one day.

Gorgeous! If I can only find that issue of IK, then I can start this amazing shawl. Thanks for the inspiration.

That is absolutely glorious -- hmm... how long is one's someday list allowed to be?

This is just beautiful. I went to your blog but none of the pictures showed. I just got the dreaded red X. Plus a lot of lines of boxes. Don't know what that's all about. But I was able to see the line that said you had to purl 5 tog. Man, I don't think that sounds like fun!! It sounds like this was really hard to knit, so congratulations on doing it and doing it so beautifully!! --Sally

I've been planning on making this shawl but wasn't sure if I liked it based on their pictures of it. Now that I've seen this one I know that I'm going to make it.

Thank you all kindly. Glad that my shawl could nudge you all along. :)

Sally:
Sorry that you could not see the photos and my blog. That blog site can be finicky at times.
The nupps (P5tog) is not as difficult or painful as one would expect as long as you make the stitckes loosely in the previous row. Why not give it a try on a waste yarn and just do some nupps?
Who knows? You might like it.
