Swallowtail Complete!

My first lace shawl! I used fingering weight wool and did 10 extra repeats of the main chart to make a larger shawl than the pattern calls for.

Thank you to all who posted about solutions to the difficulties of knitting the nupps! I held an extra needle to make the YOs.

That is beautiful. The shawl is on my "I have to knit this one day" list, and I hope that when I do it looks as nice as yours.

Very nice -- what is the yarn? It does show off the pattern very prettily indeed!

The yarn is some "vintage" fingering weight given to me by someone who either had or had a friend who had a yarn shop she was closing (can't remember). Anyway, the label only says "100% wool." No manufacturer or anything. Nice yarn though.
