my first ever real lace shawl! i knit a rectangular stole once, but it was an easy thingie. this is LACE. with super straight top edge by pins alone! yay!!

That looks beautiful! I'm knitting my first lace shawl as well and it is exhilarating. I can just imagine your excitement. I hope you get a pic modeling it for the full effect.
