Introduction

Hi! My name is Stephanie and I blog over at ontheneedles.blogspot.com/ I am knitting my first lace project which is the Box Lace Shawl from Folk Shawls. The shawl is doing double duty as my project for this KAL & the Knit the Classics KAL. It will be the first of many lace shawls as I am hooked on lace already! I posted a picture of my progress so far over on my blog. I am using Jameison's 2 ply Shetland in Royal Blue. I love the color - super vivid. I think this is a great lace project for beginners. It is easy to see how the stitches form the pattern & gives you a good understanding of what you are doing when you are making lace. I look forward to seeing everyone else's projects as well. :)
