FO: Fiber Trends Leaf Lace Shawl

It's finished! I love the colors, the drape, and the softness. This was a fast and fun project to work on.

Yarn: Cherry Tree Hill Super Sock Merino, colors = Old Rose & Quarry Hill. One 420yd hank of each, 840yds total.
Needles: Denise #7
Pattern: Leaf Lace Shawl, Fiber Trends
Finished dimensions: 65 x 34 inches
Yarn & Pattern purchased from Full Thread Ahead

A better view of the colorscape.

Color patterning --
  • Section A: This shawls starts with Old Rose, and the 10 row lace pattern is repeated 7 times.
  • Section A+B: Quarry Hill is introduced at the start of the next lace pattern repeat. Both colors are used for the next 3 repeats, alternating colors every other row.
  • Section B: Quarry Hill is worked for the next 3 repeats + the edge lace pattern.
Total number of 10 row lace pattern repeats = 13.

Less than 2 feet of Quarry Hill was left, but I have 11gms of Old Rose remaining. If I knit this again (and I probably will), I'll work the A+B section for a few more rows before proceeding with the B section.

Very nice work, Bogie! Your angled photo of the colors is cool and I really like the transitions.
